The Flash and The Arrow both premiered this past Tuesday and Wednesday and as usual we are here to talk about the best moments in both of this amazing superhero shows!
SPOILERS AHEAD from the both of the first episodes so beware.
Let's start with The Flash which premiered first:
- The episode starts out with a DREAM SEQUENCE, and please tell me in what exact moment you knew it was all a dream and not a flashback or reality. Barry is fighting and then he comes back to STAR Labs and Eddie is there with everyone and also Harrison Wells and they are all so happy when suddenly Wells stands up from his chair and we realize we had been fooled.
- It's been 6 months since the finale of season 1 in Central City and the Mayor is doing a "Flash Day" and wants to give The Flash "the man who saved Central City" (the day of the worm hole) the key of the city. Barry feels guilty because he knows he was not the hero that day. We go into a flashback and find out that after Barry went into the worm hole and then Ronnie went in too and stopped it, but he didn't survived. That's what the characters in the show think but Ronnie is not dead he either got sucked into Earth 2 or into the Firestrom Matrix, either way fear not grasshoppers, Ronnie will come back, cause he will be in the DC Legends of Tomorrow show.
- The last words of Harrison Wells. When some guy gives Barry a USB containing the last words of his worst enemy, Barry doesn't know if he wants to hear them. So he goes and visits Caitlin at Mercury Labs (which is where she is working now.) This is a very touching scence like you can feel the tension between them and how awful Barry feels about Ronnie when he talks to Caitlin. Barry decides to watch the video with Caitlin.
- The video is Harrison Wells confessing Nora Allen's murder. Barry can't believe it, that's all he needs to take his father out of prison, yet Wells tells Barry that even though he's giving him the thing he wants the most, he will never be happy.
- In the very begining of the episode we got introduced to villain (The Atom Smasher) we see Barry investigating the murder of a guy. Then in "The Flash Day" we see the guy again pretty much alive and as a metahuman. What i have heard is Atom Smasher was the Earth 2 version of the dead guy we saw earlier, from what i understand there's a version of everyone in other worlds. Plus in this scence you probably caught an eye on Jay Garrick taking pics not from Barry but from the Earth 2 villain since that is where he is from. Also Cisco uses his Vibe powers and sees TAS talking to Zoom in Earth 2.
- And to end with the Flash, Henry Allen tells Barry that he needs to go away (still do not understand why though) and breaks Barry's heart cause you know he never had his father around? Team Flash is back together like a happy family, and at the very end Cisco is telling everyone that now no one can go into STAR Labs as they please just in time when Jay Garrick comes in as he please and Cisco is like "FOR REAL?" it was very funny. He comes in and introduces himself " My name is Jay Garrick and your world is in danger." Pretty excited about how he is going to influence Barry.
- Funny thing to point out: The Flash sign, and Cisco telling the team about how "he read it in a comic book somewhere."
NOW let's jump straight to The Arrow:
- Domestic Oliver. Do you like him better than dark season 1 Oliver? cause i'm still thinking about it, he's happy living his normal life with Felicity, which if you are a Olicity shipper you are already dead by now. They seem like they are having the time of their life and we even got to see a ring.
- Team Arrow: Laurel/Black Canary, Diggle (which has a horrible helmet now, we already talked about that in the trailer breakdown) and Thea/ Speedy. Thea is losing her shit with her new occupation, she doesn't really care about the consequences and it's very funny how she constantly ask everyone to call her "Red Arrow" yet everyone still call her "Speedy". Everyone acknowledges the fact that they need "The Arrow" so they go and ask Oliver to come back to Star City to stop a new big villain.
- Oliver doesn't really want to go back, why would he? he is happy now he can have a normal life, a wife, kids and all that boring shit he rather do instead of kicking ass outside BUTTT eventually Felicity convinces him and they leave for Star City, Yes everyone still thinks Ray Palmer is dead, BUT HE IS NOT PEOPLE, he is just small, he will eventually come back just like Ronnie in The Flash.
- Would it be The Arrow if we didn't have flashbacks? This time Oliver is his first persona "The Hood" Oliver Queen had a transition from cocky billionare boy-The Hood- Arrow-Green Arrow and in this flashbacks he is THE HOOD, He gets kidnapped by Amanda Waller again, he wakes up in a plane and they dropped him back at the island where they found him back in season 1.
- Who is the big villain that makes Oliver come back to Team Arrow? Damien Darhk, i think i explain who he is on the breakdown trailer post so i'm not going to go deep into it, he is a very porwerful man and seems to have some supernatural powers too and he will be the big villain this season. Also another twist Captain Lance has been working with him all this time!!
- Oliver comes back as THE GREEN ARROW, Oliver realizes that his city needs him but he won't come back as the dark Arrow they all know, he wants to become hope for all this people and erradicate all the darkness from Star City, so he broadcasts a message saying that he is no longer "The Arrow" but a new better man who left the darkness behind, he now has become "The Green Arrow." PS: Cisco updated Oliver's new green arrow suit!
- AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the biggest twists of all: At the very last scence of this episode we see Oliver standing in front of a grave, and it's been apparently "6 months later". He's all suited up like he just came from a funeral and Barry comes in. Barry tells him that's he's sorry he couldn't make it to the funeral and Oliver tells him how all of this is his fault and that he could have stopped it all if he didn't came back, and he says "I'm going to kill him". Barry tells him "is there something i can do" but Oliver replies that he wants to be alone. Barry leaves and Oliver crunches down to see the name of the grave and we see a tear coming down his cheek and the episode ends. SOMEONE DIES WE DON'T KNOW WHO BUT IS CERTAINLY IMPORTANT SINCE OLIVER IS BAWLING HIS EYES OUT!! Who do you think it is?
AMAZING TWISTS AND EMOTIONS OUT OF CONTROL I CANT WAIT FOR ANOTHER SEASON OF BOTH FLASH AND ARROW!!! Thanks for reading!
PS: Tomorrow i will be breaking down the Shadowhunters Trailer that dropped today! Don't miss it cause it looks amazing!
